The Embodied Force Praxis
True growth. True connection. Never an excuse not to practice gratitude to the temple that is your body.
What This Praxis Is About
This Embodied Force Praxis is about true growth and true connection with the living temple that is your own body.
Since the Temple is your body, there is never an excuse not to offer at least a moment of daily gratitude to the sacred vessel that carries you. A simple scan, a breath of thanks, or one small act of care - that is enough to begin. We are all trying our best. None of us asked to be here, and life can feel scary and overwhelming at times, yet it remains an extraordinary gift. In the midst of that truth, this practice invites you back into relationship with the one thing that is always with you: your own living temple.
If you are not doing the work - if you are not showing up to listen, to tend, and to connect - then you are not a practicing member. That does not mean you are not a member. The Church of the Body has no gatekeepers and no expiration dates. It simply means the current is not yet flowing through you in daily practice.
This is the same honest principle I learned in the Hermetic path: you cannot call yourself a Hermetist if you are not doing the praxis. The old solar intonations no longer speak to me the way they once did, so I have set them down. These new adorations - simple, earth-honoring, body-first - are the path that feels alive for me now. They are not “the one true way.” They are simply the next honest step on my path.
Your path will be your own. The only requirement is that you begin where you are, with the body you have today.
Welcome to the temple.
May the Force flow through you - and through every cell of your living body.
A Sermon on the Turning Sun
We live inside a great turning wheel - sun rising, sun at its height, sun sinking, sun hidden beneath the earth.
Most days we forget we are part of that wheel.
The body remembers.
At noon the fire peaks in your chest; at midnight the quiet pulse returns in every cell.
The solar adorations are not ancient ritual - they are simple love notes between your living temple and the living earth.
Say the words. Feel the light shift.
No special tools. No perfect timing.
Just you, the sun, and the temple that is always here.
This is how we stay anchored when everything else spins.
This is how the cosmos keeps whispering through your blood and breath:
“I am with you. You are with me. We turn together.”
A Sermon on the Singing Temple
The body is not silent.
It hums.
It has always been waiting for its own voice to be heard.
Five simple tones - E I A O U - spiraling from crown to root.
The Force made audible.
Sound traveling through bone, blood, and breath like light through stained glass.
You do not need to believe anything.
You only need to let the vibration move.
The throat opens, the heart answers, the belly remembers, the feet root.
The vagus nerve lights up like a quiet constellation inside you.
This is not magic added on.
This is the temple singing back to the stars that made it.
Chant once. Feel the shift.
The body has been practicing this song for billions of years.
Today it is your turn to join the chorus.
Full Daily Praxis (5–7 minutes)
Do at least two solar points per day (Noon + Midnight are easiest; Morning + Evening also work). Scale to all four when you can.
Offering at the Altar of the Body
“This food was offered at the altar of the body.
Thank you, for your life that now becomes mine.
Your force feeds me, sustains me, becomes me.
I do not fully know why it is this way—
but I receive it with humility,
with gratitude,
with love.”
Dawn / Morning
“As the sun rises over the turning earth,
I stand in the temple of this living body.
The Force awakens light within my cells -
dawn meeting dawn. I breathe the new current through every gate.”
Noon
“At the sun’s height above the living earth,
I honor the peak fire in this body temple.
The Force burns clear and strong at my core -
will aligned with will. I stand steady in the bright center.”
Sunset / Evening
“As the sun sinks into the earth’s embrace,
I release the day’s current back into the temple.
The Force gathers in shadow and rest within me -
light and dark as one. I thank the body for its wisdom.”
Midnight
“In the deep dark while the sun turns hidden beneath the earth,
I listen to the silent pulse of the Force in every cell.
The temple renews in night’s quiet fire -
ready for the next dawn. All is connected, all is whole.”
1) Ground
Stand or sit. Breathe slowly. “I am here. The Force flows through me. The living temple is awake.”
2) Scan
Crown to soles, thank each part. Ask gently, “What do you need?” Listen without judgment.
3) EIAOU - Force Made Audible
“The Force flows through me as sound and light.” Chant E‑I‑A‑O‑U (top to bottom). Feel it spiral through the five gates.
4) Tend
Right now, give the body exactly what it asked for - a deep breath, self-hug, water, stretch, rest… whatever it needs.
5) Align
Gently touch or place hands on the main gates. Feel everything lock together. “All is connected. All is whole.”
6) Close
Deep inhale… grateful exhale. Whisper: “May the Force be with you - and through me, with all.”
