Your body is the physical manifestation of your being, the vessel in which your soul resides. It is a sacred temple that should be treated with respect and care. Your body is your first friend, always by your side from birth to death, supporting you through every experience. It carries your memories, emotions, and identity. Your body is the connection to the divine, whether through the senses or the intuition. It allows you to experience the beauty of the world, to connect with others, and to feel the presence of a higher power. Acknowledging and honoring your body as a temple, your first friend, and a conduit to the divine can help you to cultivate a deeper sense of self-love, awareness, and spirituality.

About Church of the Body

Here, at the Church of the Body (COTB), we honor the divine connection between our bodies and the universe, recognizing that we are, fundamentally, stardust made conscious. The Church of the Body is affiliated with the ULC and currently is forming. There are no mettings or gatherings at this point in 2023 it’s just a concept. You and your body. Here, at the Church of the Body (COTB), Like the ULC The COTB/ULC has only two core tenets that ministers must uphold:

In this sacred community, we understand that our bodies are microcosms of the universe—beautiful, intelligent, and interconnected entities made of the very atoms that form the cosmos. Our bodies are the first and only connection we have to both the infinitely small and the infinitely large.

Your Body

Through the practices inspired by ancient wisdom and modern understanding, we seek to connect with a profound love, appreciation, and connection with our bodies. We see them as vessels of divine wisdom and portals to a deeper understanding of the universe

Body-Universality Connection

We are atoms in contemplation of atoms. Our bodies provide a tangible, visceral connection to the cosmos and everything within it.

Sentient Body Communication:

Sentient Body Communication: Our bodies communicate with us continually, not just through physical sensations, but through our dreams, habits, mistakes, joys, and even our stumbles. They are sentient entities, constantly sharing wisdom and insights with us. The key is to learn how to listen.

Our bodies are intelligent entities, in tune with the energies and cycles of the universe. They carry wisdom and insight to share with us.
